Trinity continued its long standing All Saints Day Celebration on November 3. This worship service includes music, dance, and communion to recognize all the members and friends of Trinity who have passed on during the year.
Congregation members are invited to bring a flower in memory of a loved one and these are brought forth during the processional hymn. They decorate the altar during the worship service and are distributed at the end of the service.
Edith Dorang continued her tradition of serving as liturgist for the service.
Special music was provided by the Choristers, Chamber Choir, Chancel Choir, Anthony Lamourt, our new Directory of Music Ministries, and Erin Newcomb-Moore on the violin. Candles were brought forth in memory of each person on the bereavement list as names were read. The Dance Movement Choir then performed a special liturgical dance piece in memory of all the saints. This was followed by Holy Communion.
We appreciate all who combined their talents and time to plan and bring this meaningful and moving service to the congregation.
