LentLab: A special children's message series for Lent

We often think about Lent as a season to get quiet, to reflect, maybe even reduce or remove things from our lives so that we can increase our focus on God. That's great! But, Lent can also be a season of creativity, an opportunity to try new things, look at the world in new ways all in the hopes of knowing God and knowing ourselves a little bit more. It's in that spirit that children are invited to participate in LentLab- a special children's message series that will run throughout Lent. Each week, children will witness a new experiment and then, here's the really important part, they will interpret that experiment. They'll ask:

What can this teach me about God?

What can this teach me about me?

And, what can this teach me about how and how much God loves?

LentLab is fun! It's surprising! But, it also lets kids know that it's ok to try new things, to get creative with our faith because if we look closely, if we think hard, there is always something we can learn about God and about ourselves.
