Arm in Arm: Artists United Against Gun Violence

Where:  Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Ave., Springfield, MA  01108

When:  March 22, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

Concert is free and a collection will be taken to donate to EveryTown for Gun Safety and Springfield’s own Darrell Lee Jenkins Jr. Resource Center. 

Prior to the concert there will be a visual arts display in Trinity's Community Gallery from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with pieces by local artists including students from Sumner Ave. Elementary School and Springfield's Trust Transfer Project.

The concert will include:

Gospel and Liturgical Dance Choirs from Wesley United Methodist Church in Springfield

The SciTech Band, the Pride of Springfield

Trinity’s Dance Movement Choir

Vocalists Vanessa Ford & Regina Krawiec

Poets Lisa Everett and Jane Schneeloch

Flutist Janet Dixon-Metcalf, Violinist Erin Newcomb-Moore and Piano Accompanist Stephen Hays.

There will be a meditation/prayer walk on the front lawn with luminarias and flags printed with the names of local victims of gun violence.
