Who We Are
As a community of faith we gather together to:
CELEBRATE God’s love
NURTURE relationships with God and one another
SERVE our community and world as we share the light of Christ
Reconciling Congregation
Believing that all persons are created in God's image and are of sacred worth, that Jesus' message was one of inclusion of those rejected by mainstream society, and that each member makes inherent and valuable contributions to the Body of Christ, we who are Trinity Church also welcome into this congregation people of every age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, family structure, and physical or mental ability.
Our Building
Trinity Church’s building was designed to be a "Community Cathedral" where everyone in our neighborhood could come to learn, grow, be enriched, and draw closer to God. We are dedicated to that vision and continue to open our doors to a wide variety of neighborhood groups.
Connectional Church
Trinity is a congregation within the world-wide denomination of the The United Methodist Church which has 11 million members around the globe. We are part of the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church and the Commonwealth West District. We actively partner with Urban Potential and the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
Safe Practices
We all play a role in fostering a safe and welcoming community. Becoming familiar with safe practices for different spaces, times, and situations is one way that we do that.
You can find a description of these practices in our safe sanctuaries brochure available for download below.
Our program leaders and helpers also follow safe practices, as outlined in our safe sanctuaries policy. That document is also available for download below.
