Dr. Desiree Ashley McKay-Rogers (Dr. Dez) is a native of Hartford, CT. She earned both a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies and a MEd in Interdisciplinary Education from Cambridge College. She earned two Dr. of Philosophy degrees from Heart Bible International University—one with a focus in Religious Studies and the other focus in Divinity.
Service and volunteerism bring Dr. Dez great joy. She is a philanthropist, missionary, community organizer and activist, poet, educator, licensed social worker, and licensed substance abuse counselor. She has a deep passion for serving others and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
She and her husband, Keith, have three children, Jah’Meek, Jah’Mez, and Nazyier. Dr. Dez enjoys thrifting, reading, exploring coffee shops, and being a "Hello Kitty" super fan! She has an adventurous spirit and love of discovering new places, experiences, and opportunities.
